Healthy and nutritious school meals are cooked on the premises by our fully trained Chef and are paid for weekly. This academic year, all children in Reception to Year 6 will receive Free School Meals under the Mayor of London's initiative. Children in Nursery can stay for lunch for the small cost of £2 per day. Payment must be made through ParentPay in advance.
Children can either have a school lunch or bring a packed lunch. The school’s Healthy Packed Lunch Policy can be viewed here.
Children taking up the 30-hour provision will incur a small daily charge of £2.00 to cover the cost of adult supervision over lunchtime. A school meal is included. Nursery children attending the morning session can also stay for lunch for the same daily charge.
Menus are provided termly detailing the meals on offer. Each day children will have the option of main dish with vegetarian options available and a dessert. Seasonal vegetables, salad, fresh fruit, fresh bread baked from our kitchen and drinking water will be available every day.
Our school milk is supplied by Cool Milk Ltd. Under 5’s receive milk free of charge; you simply need to register that your child would like to have it. Milk is supplied at a subsidised rate for over 5’s. Please visit coolmilk.com to register your child and to manage payments (if your child is over 5yrs old) for your child’s milk.
The school also takes part in the National School Fruit Scheme. Children aged 4-7 years (EYFS and Key Stage 1) are entitled to a free piece of fruit each school day. We also encourage children in Key Stage 2 to bring a piece of fruit to school to eat during morning break time.
The school qualifies for the National Schools Breakfast Programme. This means we provide free cereals and bagels and a selection of toppings for all children from 8:30-8:45am every day.
Should your child have any special dietary requirements (for medical or religious reasons) please contact us to discuss it.
